Ocean Athletics Wish List

Ocean Athletics is a non-profit association that not only supports and develops young track and field athletes on the Peninsula in Surrey but also contributes to overall sports and community initiatives. For example, the track and field facility at South Surrey Athletic Park is used by seniors for activities such as the Senior's Games, Rotary for the 24 hour Marathon, all elementary and high schools, and runners of all ages.
Because of its central location, aesthetic beauty and ample parking, events held at this facility contribute to a healthy lifestyle for young and old, tourism, hotel and restaurant business, and retail businesses on the Peninsula.
Ocean Athletics welcomes all sponsorships, donations and contributions.
Cost for equipment ranges from under $30 to $30,000:
- 1 High Jump Pit, standards and crossbars
- 80 Competition Hurdles
- Video Timing System
- Pole Vault Facility
- 2 Large Storage Bins
- 1 landscape rake, 2 shovels, 2 brooms, 1 smaller broom (shot put circle), 1 100 ft. hose,
- 3 pots with flowers
- 5 – 6 Costco tables (6 ft.)
