Video Timing System

South Fraser T&F and Ocean Athletics have jointly purchased the latest Finish Lynx camera called the Fusion.  This is a wireless, colour camera with a maximum capture rate of 2000 frames per second.

Together with a wireless, fully automatic wind gauge, a wireless timing display clock, wireless start and 2 wireless computers, we are equipped to provide your event with high quality finish line timing good to 1 / 1000 of a second.  We can provide our own tent, table and chairs.    Mounted on our "Little Giant" extendable ladder, we are completely self reliant.  Leave the video timing to us for stress free track meets.

Rates

The club can provide the equipment, set up, operation, take down and one operator at the rate of $500/day and $300/ half day.  Wind gauge, display clock and photo results (linked to HyTek and or hard copy) and two laptops can handle track events as fast as it takes to set up the next heat.

Cross Country or Road Race Timing

Timing for Cross Country and Road races.  With other automatic timing systems, the finish order can sometimes be incorrect resulting in teams losing out on team championships.  With our Finish Lynx timing system, coupled with a full frame Lynx Systems video camera linked to the Fusion finish line camera we can use our timing system for 100% accurate timing of cross country and road race events.  This processing can occur as the race is unfolding giving fast turn around using our wireless network of computers and printers.
