Jake set a new Canadian Legion U16 record in the 300m hurdles and Seb also broke the existing Legion record enroute to his Silver medal.

Liam McKay 23rd in U18 800m also ran the 1500m while Sarah Korpach 27th in U18 400m also ran the 100m and 300m Hurdles.  Jake's brother Max was sitting in 7th for Javelin until his very last throw in which he launched it 2 meters past the leader distance to win Gold.   Full results...

Meghan Palesch - 100M Hurdles Gold and 400M Hurdles Silver.
Ben Ingvaldson - Shot put Gold with PB 14.93m toss and Discus 4th place.

Alison Williams - 800M Silver for the 2nd consecutive year.
Bronze medalist:
Deon Clifford - 2000M Steeplechase Bronze
Top 8 finishers:

Other contestents in the Senior division:
Liam McKay - 800M 10th place in PB 2:01.37
Reta Dobie - Steeplechase 10th place and High Jump 11th.
Richard Roberts - 11th place in both Triple Jump and 400M Hurdles.
Emma Scott - 16th place in 400M.
Camilla Lesyk - 17th in Long Jump and part of 12th place EMS 4x400 team.
Jalen Sekhon - 17th in 3000M, and 19th in 1500M after spikes were stolen.
Conor Niwinski - 18th place in Triple Jump.
Rachel Cho - 21st place in Steeplechase
Brandon Figeuroa made the 1500M finals but did not finish race.
I feel that the age graded performance of the meet was Ben Ingvaldson winning Senior Men's Shot put
at the age of 15!!!  Ben was considering throwing in the Grade 8/9 division but bravely took up the challenge to throw with the big boys with modest expectations.  Ben will have 3 more years at this meet, and never, ever again have modest expectations.  This has only ever been achieved once before by Dylan Armstrong.
